Sister Regina Siegfried and I work together on “Suds of Love,” a program she helped create at St. Vincent de Paul parish. Once a month, our parish invites homeless clients to do their laundry at a laundromat. Parishioners pay for use of the washers and dryers and laundry supplies, and offer to repair clothes. I am inspired by her presence to the poor. I stand with Sister Regina in serving the often forgotten people in our midst.
