Collaborative Projects

Catholic Sisters value collaboration. The congregations in the St. Louis region that belong to Region X of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious often work together on a variety of initiatives. Below are a few collaborative projects we’ve launched in recent years.

Take 2 Today is a powerful new video series from Catholic Sisters in St. Louis, offering two-minute weekly prayers for immigrants and refugees. Rooted in Gospel values, these short reflections invite you to pause, pray and stand in solidarity. New videos drop weekly.

Ask a Nun Anything campaign (2024)

From March 8-14, we’ll be sharing short videos featuring sisters answering your most pressing questions to provide a lighthearted yet insightful look into the world of Catholic sisters.

Exploring Intersections (2021-22)

Exploring Intersections logo

Catholic Sisters from 24 congregations in four states launched a yearlong, live-streamed conversation series on the leading social justice issues of our time. Titled “Exploring Intersections: Catholic Sisters on Racism, Migration and Climate,” each month the series focused on a different social issue in a thought-provoking and engaging conversation. Topics included gender equity, human trafficking, gun violence, economic justice, food security, restorative justice, affordable housing, educational justice, equitable access to health care and more.

This project won the 2021 Outstanding Integrated Campaign award from Communicators for Women Religious.

Stand with Sisters campaign (2019)

St. Louis Catholic Sisters launched a campaign celebrating the myriad ways women religious and their supporters stand up for social justice in our communities. Compelled by the Holy Spirit and our Catholic faith, we work with people affected by immigration, poverty, human trafficking, racism, homelessness, LGBTQ issues, incarceration, and other injustices.
